Check out this article from the Washington Post. how wonderful is it that we have a African American President and also some high ranking African American women in the administration. I will say one thing, Desiree Rogers, is the White House Social Secretary but the post gives new meaning to the word Secretary. I think that would be a fun job but I know it is stressful. I read about her too. I was so impressed! What amazes me is that for centuries black women have taken care of the world. So smart and so strong yet unrecognized. Never fully appreciated! Never fully acknowledged for our intelligence! I even think Condie was under-appreciated because she was a black woman. I think anyone else would have been in the spotlight more. I am so happy Obama is bringing STRONG BLACK WOMEN to the forefront.
